Coulter

Jonah Goldberg’s decision to drop Ann Coulter from the NRO makes sense, but is different from what I had expected. I was looking for an explanation along the lines of “we couldn’t publish her radical ideas anymore,” but it turned out to be more basic than that. According to Goldberg, Ann Coulter “behaved with a total lack of professionalism, friendship, and loyalty.” The NRO would have backed Ann Coulter up if she had treated them better and listened to what they had to say. She got “fired” for breaking a basic rule: don’t push your boss over the edge. Even so, I’m not sure she learned anything. Ann Coulter seems to be doing fine without the NRO.
