New Rule

New Rule: Everyone needs to stop asking seniors about their plans for next year and bringing up the fact that we're graduating next month. Almost all seniors I know are in complete denial about leaving college, and we'd like to keep it that way. Yes, we know that the end of the year is coming and that we have to make important decisions about jobs or graduate schools, but we're hoping that if we don't think about it, Cornell won't actually make us leave. We like this fantasy world where graduation doesn't exist. So please, Class of 2007, stop with the "Countdown to commencement" emails. Senior Class Campaign, I don't want the alumni magazine yet - I'm still a student. Adults, stop telling me that these past four years were the best times I'll ever have in my life. And finally, May 27, stop being so soon.
